The Yachting Way of Life

Set where the Caribbean meets the western Atlantic, St. Kitts is an enchanting destination for seafarers from around the world. The island’s well-equipped marinas and naturally protected deepwater harbours create an idyllic setting for an extended stay or exhilarating stopover on a loop through the Leeward Islands.

St. Kitts has two main marinas: the 36-slip Port Zante Marina in the bustling capital city of Basseterre and Christophe Harbour, a state-of-the-art marina on the island’s quieter southeastern peninsula.

From Port Zante, it’s a short walk to the island’s historic center and its pastel cottages, and the famous Circus clock.

Naturally protected and perfectly situated on the island's southeastern peninsula, Christophe Harbour is fast becoming the Eastern Caribbean's foremost superyacht marina. In January 2019, it hosted the annual Caribbean Crewfest, welcoming 15 superyachts for four days of workshops, island excursions, and onboard sessions, as well as racing crews of the Panerai Transat Classique, the 3,000-mile race from the Canary Islands to St. Kitts.

Whether you sail from our sister island of Nevis, from one of our near neighbors, or from distant shores, St. Kitts is well-equipped to help you make the most of your stay, every day. St. Kitts Marine Works near Brimstone offers haul-out facilities, including a 150-ton travel lift that has been widened to 35 feet. Fortress Marine and Indigo Yachts provide boatbuilding services, with the latter also offering chandlery services.
